Words hurt…we all know that. We all realize that our words can deeply wound others. Things we say can start so innocently and end so terribly. Gossip, negative comments and condescending attitudes are all things that tear others down.
Today take inventory of how you speak to others. Become accountable to God for your mouth. Recognize the impact of positive words and begin to use them accordingly.
James 1:19 is a constant reminder to me
Be quick to listen
Be slow to speak
Be slow to become angry
Today’s Dare: Pay attention to what comes out of your mouth. Watch for gossip and refuse to converse in a negative fashion about anyone. Look at your heart attitude. Look for ways to turn a negative conversation into a positive one. Counter negative talk with positive words. Find words of encouragement to give to people in your life. Realize that when you encourage you are
Prayer: Father I come to you my mouth. Teach me how to manage it. It is an instrument of cursing or blessing nd I declare it to honor you, blessing you and others. Give me encouraging words and warn me when conversations are getting to a place of gossip and dishonor. I desire to love you by loving others!
Bridal your tongue and loose your blessings!
