The call!
God calls Abram to step out…from everything he has known. Everything he is familiar yet. He was tried on whether he loved God better than he loved his native soil, and dearest friends, and whether he could willingly leave ALL to go along with God.
His country was idolatrous, his kindred and his father’s house were a constant temptation to him, and he could not continue with them without danger of being infected by them.
When God tells us to do something . It truly takes an act of faith to take up everything we have known and leave. Holding fast to the promises that God makes. Sometimes our lack of faith is what keeps us anchored to misery!
Abram believed that the blessing of the Almighty would make up for all he could lose or leave behind, supply all his wants, and answer and exceed all his desires; and he knew that nothing but misery would follow disobedience.
When we are justified by faith in Christ, and have peace with God. We are  not discouraged by the difficulties in our way. Those who set out for heaven must persevere to the end. What we undertake, in obedience to God’s command, will still bring us Victory. Even when Abram concealed a truth about his wife. God still was faithful to his word.
Are there some infectious things and situations you need to step out from??? Are you looking at the situation instead of God? Has God called you like Abram to pick up and move and you’re still stuck in unbelief and lack of faith? We must meet God halfway.

Faith without works is dead!
Walk in the assurance that God is still faithful to those who are obedient!!

Believe it!
